Privacy policy

This policy covers the Storekeeper website at storekeeper.ai, operated by Storekeeper. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect, and why

Account signups. If you create an account we store the email address you give us, the confirmation state, when you signed up, which button you used (for example "hero" or "pricing"), campaign parameters from the link that brought you here, and the IP address and browser identification your request carried. We use this to run your account, prevent abuse, and understand which pages convince people.

Your inventory data. Files you import (SKUs, stock, sales, suppliers, costs) are stored in your account to compute your forecast, alerts, purchase-order drafts and exports. They are visible only to your account and are never shared or used for anything else.

Billing. When you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment operator on its own secure page. We store your plan, its status and renewal date, and the operator's customer and subscription references. We never see or store your full card number.

The demo. Rows you paste into the stock scan are processed to produce your result and are not stored. If your pasted text cannot be parsed directly, it is sent to our AI model provider for extraction under a data processing agreement; it is not used to train models, and we log only that a scan happened, never its contents.

Analytics. We run our own page analytics on this server. There is no third-party analytics script on this site, no analytics cookie, and no cross-site tracking. For each page view we record the page path, the domain of the site that linked you here (never the full link), a device class (mobile, tablet or desktop), the country our CDN tags the request with, and the time. We also record one event when a signup is confirmed, so we can tell which pages actually help. We do not store your IP address with these records and we do not store any identifier that could tie two visits to the same person, so these rows cannot be traced back to you. They are deleted after 90 days. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not buy third-party data about you.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your email address or any other data.
• Add you to a newsletter you did not ask for. Your account gets sign-in codes, the alerts you switch on and billing emails, nothing else.
• Store demo inputs, or use them for anything but answering your scan.

Legal basis

For your account and subscription, the basis is the contract you enter by signing up and subscribing. For signups, it is also your consent, given when you submit your email and proven by the confirmation code. For security logging and abuse prevention, the basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working. You can withdraw consent at any time (below).

Retention

Account and inventory data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized within 12 months after it is closed. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. The anonymous analytics rows described above are deleted after 90 days. Server logs rotate within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] from the address in question and it is done, usually within a few days and always within 30. EU/EEA residents also have the right to complain to their local data-protection authority; for us that is the Polish UODO.

Processors we rely on

A hosting and content delivery provider, a transactional email provider, a payment operator, and an AI model provider for the demo's text extraction. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and account holders get an email before the change applies to them.
