What is inventory management software?
Software that tracks what stock you have, where it sits, and how it moves, then helps you decide what to buy and when. Basic tools stop at counting. Modern systems like Storekeeper add demand forecasting per SKU, automated reorder points, dead-stock detection and drafted purchase orders, so the software recommends actions instead of just recording history. Is Storekeeper live yet?
It is in early access. The forecasting demo on the homepage is real: it runs the same screening math the product uses, on sample data or rows you paste, free and without a signup. Store connections open to the early-access list first. We say this plainly because pretending to be launched is how this category earned its trust problem.
Do I have to pay anything now?
No. Early access is free to join, no card. The published prices, from $49 to $499 a month, are planned launch prices, shown so you know what to expect. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
What will Storekeeper connect to?
Planned integrations cover point-of-sale systems, Shopify, major marketplaces and 3PL feeds, plus spreadsheet import so nobody is locked out on day one. We publish integrations as they actually land instead of promising a logo wall.
How is Storekeeper different from Zoho Inventory or Cin7?
Zoho is affordable but rules-based: you set reorder points by hand and its forecasting is thin. Cin7 is powerful but heavy, with onboarding measured in months and pricing to match. Storekeeper is built around the decision layer both leave to you: AI forecasts per SKU that turn into reorder quantities, expedite warnings, markdown flags and drafted purchase orders, at prices a growing SMB brand can justify.
Will it work for multiple locations and channels?
Yes, that is the core of the product. One stock picture across stores, warehouses and online channels, with per-location detail and transfer suggestions. Multi-location support starts on the Growth plan.
Is my data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based, and the design is GDPR-conscious. The demo on this site stores nothing you paste. SOC 2 is on the roadmap and we say so honestly; you will not find a badge here that has not been earned.
What does the demo actually run?
The same screening math the product uses: sales rate and trend per SKU, forecast over your horizon, days of cover, safety stock from lead time, and a verdict: reorder with a suggested quantity, expedite, mark down, or healthy. Sample businesses compute instantly; pasted rows are read by AI and the arithmetic is done by the engine, never invented by the model.
What happens after I confirm my email?
You are on the early-access list, and that is all. No charge, no trial clock, no sales calls. We email when your spot opens; if you change your mind, ignore the email or reply to be removed.
Who builds Storekeeper?
An independent team. Small team, real product, honest pages: no fabricated testimonials, no invented customer counts, no fake countdown timers.
